Companies to jointly develop solution that provides end user with a single view of all their data and complete sharing rights control
Bengaluru, India & London, UK, 20 June, 2018 – ITC Infotech and digi.me today announced a strategic partnership to deliver solutions that not only provide the end user with a single view of all their data but also put them in complete control of that data and its sharing rights.
ITC Infotech, a global scale full-service provider of technology solutions and a fully-owned subsidiary of ITC Ltd, and digi.me, a personal data platform and SwissRE HealthTech and FinTech investment, will collaboratively design innovative technology solutions that aim to leverage data from across the consumer’s lifestyle, health, and social media behavior in order to enable better personal insights while providing propositions uniquely tailored to their specific needs. This mutually beneficial partnership provides digi.me with scale for their technology operations as well as access into newer markets and customers.
“At ITC Infotech, we continue to invest in solutions that will enable our clients to deliver the best value and experience to their end customers. Through this partnership with digi.me, we aim to deliver a differentiated value proposition to our clients, primarily in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) and Healthcare space. We look forward to being the partner for digi.me’s solution globally and enhancing our client’s customer engagements.” said Sushma Rajagopalan, MD & CEO, ITC Infotech.
Data is one of the biggest enablers of technology and growth, but there has long been debate over its control versus individual privacy. Digi.me is pioneering the ability to leverage technology to provide users with complete control over their data while providing complete privacy. This fundamentally shifts power to individuals by making it easy for them to get, see and share their own data – essentially creating an “Internet of Me” ecosystem with the individual at its core.
Commenting on the partnership, Julian Ranger, Exec Chairman and Founder of digi.me said, “At digi.me, we believe in unleashing limitless innovation and potential by allowing individuals to share rich personal data through a responsible Consent framework. With our partnership with ITC Infotech, we’re excited to see the first of many deployments of digi.me’s technology enabling ITC Infotech to create enhanced innovations for their clients using consented personal data privately.”
As part of the partnership, digi.me will further support ITC Infotech in developing the Go-To-Market for BFSI and Healthcare markets globally. ITC Infotech is currently engaged with over 200 world leading businesses globally, with operations spanning North America, Europe, Middle East & Africa, India and Asia Pac.
