Supply Chain Transformation of Warehouse using Rapid Rollout Configuration Toolkit

Supply Chain Transformation of Warehouse using Rapid Rollout Configuration Toolkit

Client:

The client is an Agro giant based out of the US growing and exporting berries worldwide. With the strength of having 100+ warehouses across the globe, managing the timelines and profitability in such a commodity-driven business was complex.

Business Challenge:

Due to the nature of the business and the low shelf life of berries, the client suffered delays in operations and planning. Managing multiple warehouses with unique configurations took work, especially when a configuration change or a new warehouse was introduced. This changeover would usually take a reasonable amount of time out of the product’s shelf life. The client was in dire need of a solution that allows quick and single-touch configuration of new warehouses along with the benefits of automated reporting and analytics.

Benefits Achieved:

A significant reduction in new warehouse deployment time and higher shelf life of berries led to improved profitability. The client now has a dedicated solution to highlight configuration differences between chosen warehouses resulting in quick and informed decision-making.
