Our customer is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of packaging machinery. They manufacture different types of machines, viz., Packer, Film Wrapper, Boxer, Case Packer, Palletizer, etc .

Our customer has numerous customers across the globe and needs to send manuals for different machines bought by their customers. For every modification in a machine, relevant documents explaining the change along with the updated catalogue needs to be sent. Our customer was facing lot of challenges in terms of making these documents available to the end user in time.

Despite of having a software that could generate catalog in paper and CD form, they were facing problems in making the relevant information available to their customers in time. In order to overcome these problems, our customer wanted a solution that can provide machine information and spare parts catalogue to their customers and technicians.

We developed a web application for our customer that was capable of uploading existing data into a well-defined database and provide access to updated machine information at all the time.

The application also has security features to prevent unauthorized access to data and sensitive information. It has the ability to define roles and rights for different users at different levels.

One of the most important features in the application is its multilingual functionality through which user could view content in their own language. The administrator of the application has the ability to define content in any language without any modifications in the application.

The application also provides features to drill down form the machine overview image to the part level, zooming, printing and search functionality.
